Effective natural relief for fibromyalgia pain

Many of the 10 million Americans suffer from generalized eye muscle aches from fibromyalgia options that are not prescriptions for pain relief. As fibromyalgia doctor myself, I want to share with you the most effective natural options that I include in my own “pain relief” toolbox that includes anti-inflammatory herbs, topical creams, and a unique massage form that breaks muscle knots painful.

Ibuprofen herbs. One found that curcumin was actually more effective in reducing pain and swelling in arthritis joints such as anti-inflammatory drugs. 
While the addition of turmeric as a spice food taste, it should be consumed in large quantities for a medicinal effect that our intestine does not absorb well. Maximum pain effects are commonly found with supplements containing curcumin optimized for absorption (such as curcumin’s phosphatidylcholine complex). Although curcumin is much safer than anti-inflammatory drugs, it has some mild anticoagulant effects, so be sure to ask your doctor before starting supplementation.

Rubbing it where it hurts
Creams natural byproducts can also provide local relief for muscle pain in fibromyalgia. The best part is that topical treatments tend to be very well tolerated with few side effects. Arnica is a plant used since the 1500s for the treatment of contusions, muscle pain and inflammation. Today it is still used today as a natural treatment for muscle pain in many topical remedies. A cream’ve based homeopathic remedies found very useful is the MyPainAway Fibro cream. Includes arnica to reduce muscle pain, echinacea to reduce inflammation,
Capsaicin creams are another local option to relieve pain. These contain the active ingredient in the spice that causes a burning sensation. Whatever seems to cause more pain, but, in fact, the low capsaicin rates in these creams temporarily block the pain nerves of ozone from certain chemicals that transmit the pain impulses. The application of this cream three times a day has been shown to significantly improve fibromyalgia pain scores in a study conducted in Spain.

Breaking muscle knots
Almost all people with fibromyalgia describe muscles so strong and full of painful muscle knots called trigger points. After being diagnosed with fibromyalgia in medical school, I tried many different massage styles, but did not get any benefit until I found a specialized technique called myofascial release. This form of massage therapy involves the use of very slow, but gentle pressure to separate small adhesions into muscle tissue and supported fascia, reducing muscle tension and breaking into muscle knots. Two European studies have found that myofascial release therapy was effective in reducing the pain of fibromyalgia, and gave long-term pain relief, even in one month and six months after the last session.
The good news is that myofascial release is also something we can do for ourselves! A recent study showed that a normal self-myofascial program release reduces pain intensity and stiffness decreases. They lie on the ground and place a small, soft ball (about the size and density of a large orange) on all areas of tight and painful muscles. Then allow the body to sink in and around the ball for a few minutes to provide the correct amount of pressure to allow the release of the fascia sustainably. Some types of yoga can also gently stretch the fascia. Yin Yoga involves sitting variations and often poses decubitus and supported by general support-performed for 3-5 minutes.
The best part of these natural options is that we can not do it by ourselves and take control of the symptoms again in our own hands!
