FIBROMYALGIA, BEING BROKEN INSIDE

Fibromyalgia: being broken inside and thinking that nobody but me can understand how I feel, … It is the disease of emotions not expressed

Our emotional states can favor all kinds of diseases: hypertension, cardiac dysfunction or nervous disorders of different types. The different ailments can contribute not only to transform our physical health, but also to facilitate healing at a deeper level. The secret lies in discovering and understanding the messages that contain physical disorders in order to know and live better.

“To understand this psychosomatic connection, we must first recognize that the mind and the body are a whole,” says the author. Normally, we consider the body as a “container” that accompanies us, that we must take care of and that when it is damaged they should take the doctor to repair it. “Unfortunately this view is very limited. It denies the complexity of energies that configure our whole being, energies that flow and intercommunicate. (…) There is no separation between what happens in the mind (thoughts and feelings) and what happens in the body “

One thing to note about Fibromyalgia, because its symptoms are poorly understood, those who suffer from this disease feel that others do not believe them because the pain is not seen. Fibromyalgia is considered a controversial diagnosis and some authors claim that it should not be considered as a disease due, among other reasons, to the lack of abnormalities in the physical examination, in objective laboratory tests or medical imaging studies to confirm the diagnosis.

Officially, fibromyalgia is a group of symptoms and musculoskeletal disorders that are poorly understood, characterized mainly by extreme fatigue, persistent pain, stiffness of varying intensity of the muscles, tendons and a wide range of other psychological symptoms, such as difficulty sleeping, stiffness morning, headaches and problems with thinking and memory, sometimes called “mental gaps” that often prevent the routine functioning of people. It is a “non-contagious” disorder present in approximately 3 to 6 percent of young women, commonly between 20 and 50 years of age.

Today we will share an interview with Mª Àngels Mestre, a woman who suffered fibromyalgia and who, without an official response from her doctors, was able to leave her on her own merits. Since then he has been writing about the subject and advising patients of this and other chronic diseases. We hope it will be a great help …

– What exactly is fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia is the disease of unexpressed emotions. It is the result of an internal conflict, we have generated it. The most affected organ is the liver, depository of the emotions contained according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. He regulates the fascias, musculature, tendons, ligaments, joints, veins and arteries, and sight. This body is also in charge of the detoxification of all the toxins that make us sick, both external and internal.

-What are the most common symptoms?

-Fibromyalgia has a wide range of symptoms, the main one is generalized musculoskeletal pain, with rigidity and fatigue, which is accompanied by a decrease in concentration and memory, insomnia, irritable bowel, irritable bladder, headaches, anxiety, restless legs syndrome, chest pain, strong and painful menstruations, decreased vision, cramps, etc.

– What kind of people suffer it?

-To have health and harmony we have to align thinking, feeling (emotions) and acting (action / word). In fibromyalgia there is a mismanagement of thoughts and emotions, because their energy is not released in the action or through the word. The action is repressed and the energy of thought and emotion are blocked in the form of tension, which manifests itself through pain and a great variety of symptoms.

-Why are more cases found in women than in men?

-The woman is more emotional and more practical. His blocks are more emotional, while man is more mental and theoretical. On the other hand, the factor that makes this disease possible is repression. There is no doubt that, in our society, since childhood, women are more subject to repression than men.

– Where does this disease come from?

-As for all diseases, fibromyalgia is multifactorial, but its origin is found in rigid cultural, family and social patterns that produce repression in childhood. The child copies these patterns to feel loved, and becomes obedient and submissive without being, and begins to develop a false personality, departing from its essence. The psycho-emotional defects that accompany the patient are: the perfectionist pride to feel valued by the environment and contained anger, an emotion that, if not released, is devastating to health.

– Do you have any kind of cure or is it really a chronic disease?

– Health can be recovered if this is our will, we have the necessary information and we are willing to make changes from the globality of the human being. We need a great transformation of the way of thinking, feeling and acting, which generates a healthy, free and happy new person.

-What is transcranial stimulation?

-Transcranial stimulation is based on the production of an electrical current in areas of the brain. We know that electric current creates electromagnetic fields, so from my point of view, I do not think that fibromyalgia is the most appropriate. If we want to increase the neurotransmitters such as serotonin and melatonin, we have less invasive tools, such as food, the first medicine. To increase the level of neurotransmitters I recommend legumes, which contain tryptophan, for being an inducer of said neurotransmitters.

-How can symptoms be improved?

-To heal the following changes are necessary: the change of attitude leads us to stop feeling victims to be responsible, to stop being passive to be active, starting to self-manage the disease as protagonists through empowerment. We do not expect to be cured, it is necessary something of nonconformity and rebellion to make our own decisions and direct our lives. We also need a change of lifestyle, simplifying it and leaving stress. Likewise, it is necessary to replace the patterns established by our lived and understood experience, which will help us to say “no” without feeling guilty. It is fundamental the change of habits that harm us, especially that of food, a diet that purifies the liver of toxins, including those of medication, that provide us with energy,

– Is this a kind of modern disease?

-Do not. Diseases are born due to the psycho-emotional defects of humanity, but they increase and are aggravated by lifestyle and poor diet. Currently this disease has expanded due to the self-imposed that the woman has self-imposed to reach all areas that modern life shows, such as the work profession, family, home, social relations, etc. All this, many times, without the possibility of directing his life
